41V1849 is the 32 GB DDR1 memory card with CCIN 30F9 in IBM's POWER5 system parts table. The listed systems are the 9119-590, 9119-595 and 9406-595, and 12R8452 is the non-RoHS alternate to this RoHS-compliant number.
Other DDR1 memory cards in the table are 12R9413 (4-8 GB CUoD, CCIN 303F) for the same three systems, plus 12R9410 (2-4 GB CUoD, CCIN 303E) and 12R9416 (16 GB CUoD, CCIN 304E) for the 9406-595 only. The 32 GB 41U0088 (CCIN 316D) is listed separately without a DDR type.
IBM's plugging guidelines for the 590 and 595 require memory cards to be added in pairs, keep each node to one memory size and type, and do not allow DDR1 and DDR2 cards in the same node because their voltages differ.
A node has 16 memory card positions. After the first four cards at Px-C2, Px-C4, Px-C10 and Px-C12, IBM's order continues with Px-C14 and Px-C15 on MCM 0, then Px-C24 and Px-C25 on MCM 1.
The 4-8 GB DDR1 CUoD card 12R9413 and the 32 GB card 41U0088 are on our IBM POWER5 parts hub. Pair this card with another 32 GB DDR1 card, since IBM requires pairs and one size and type per node.
