41V1957 is the IBM 0/16 GB DDR2 Capacity Upgrade on Demand memory card. The POWER5 system parts catalog lists it in the memory parts table for the 9119-595 and the 9406-595 and marks it as designed to comply with the RoHS requirement.
No CCIN or failing function code appears in its catalog row, so the part number on the card label is the reliable identifier.
The smaller card in the same pair is 41V1956, the 0/8 GB DDR2 CUoD memory card, listed for the same two machine types. IBM also lists a 0-16 GB DDR2 CUoD memory feature with 533 MHz DRAM, 41V2097 (CCIN 316C), for the 9119-590, 9119-595 and 9406-595.
Other large memory cards in the 595 table include the 41U0088 32 GB memory card (CCIN 316D) and the 41V1849 32 GB DDR1 card (CCIN 30F9), so DDR1 and DDR2 cards must not be confused when ordering.
Fit check: for 8 GB of CUoD capacity, IBM lists the 41V1956; the CCIN 316C card is the 41V2097. 590/595 memory and books are on the IBM POWER5 parts hub.
