Cisco C9300-NM-4G Catalyst 9300 Series 4x 1G Network Module

C9300-NM-4G is the four-port 1 Gigabit uplink module for Catalyst 9300 Series switches. Cisco's data sheet names it the Catalyst 9300 Series 4x 1G Network Module, and the hardware installation guide says it has four 1 GE SFP module slots.

Any combination of standard SFP modules is supported, but SFP+ optics are not. Cisco notes that an SFP+ inserted in this 1 GE module does not operate and the switch logs an error message. All Catalyst 9300 network modules are hot-swappable.

The data sheet states that Catalyst 3850 and Catalyst 9300 network modules are supported on Catalyst 9300 models, while 9300X modules work only in 9300X switches. That means this module suits standard C9300 chassis, and a 9300X needs an X-series module. Cisco lists an MTBF of 8,953,570 hours.
