IBM 01AC604 4TB Nearline SAS 3.5-inch Drive

IBM 01AC604 is the FRU for a 4 TB nearline SAS hard drive in the 3.5-inch large form factor, listed in IBM's replaceable-units table for the FlashSystem 5200 2U expansion enclosures. It fits the 12-bay LFF expansion model 4662-12G. IBM's FlashSystem 5200 sales manual lists feature AL39 as a 4 TB nearline 3.5-inch drive for that model. IBM does not print the FRU next to the feature, so the link is by the sales-manual description. The larger sibling in the same table is 01AC606, an 8 TB nearline drive. Older Storwize and FlashSystem 5100 expansions use a different 4 TB nearline FRU, 00AR322. SFF drives such as 01YM203 belong in the 24-bay 4662-24G instead. To confirm fit, read the expansion enclosure's machine type-model and compare the FRU on the drive carrier label with IBM's 2U expansion parts table for the 4662-12G.
