IBM 01YM203 2.4TB 10K SAS Drive for 4662-24G

IBM 01YM203 is the field-replaceable unit for a 2.4 TB, 10,000 rpm SAS hard drive in the 2.5-inch form factor, listed in IBM's replaceable-units table for the 2U expansion enclosures of the FlashSystem 5200 (machine type 4662). It installs in the 24-bay SFF expansion, model 4662-24G. IBM's FlashSystem 5200 sales manual lists feature AL6B as a 2.4 TB 10K 2.5-inch drive for the 4662-24G. IBM does not print the FRU next to the feature, so the link is by the sales-manual description. The FlashSystem 5200 sales manual gives December 31, 2027 as the no-longer-available date for that drive feature. Earlier systems use a different FRU for the same capacity: 01YM176 is the 2.4 TB 10K drive in the FlashSystem 5100 and Storwize V7000 Gen2 lists, where the sales manuals list AC6B and AHF5. Other SFF drives in the 4662-24G list include 01EJ598 (1.92 TB flash) and 01EJ599 (3.84 TB flash). To confirm fit, read the machine type-model on the expansion enclosure label, then match the FRU on the drive carrier to IBM's 2U expansion parts table for that model.
