IBM 02PX543 is the FRU for a 7.68 TB 2.5-inch SAS flash drive in the 2072 family. IBM lists it in the system replaceable-units table for the Storwize V5000E (2072-224, 2072-324 and the 2072-24F expansion) and the FlashSystem 5010 and 5030 enclosures that share those parts. IBM's sales manual lists feature AL82 as a 7.68 TB 2.5-inch flash drive for machine type 2072, alongside AL80 (1.92 TB), AL81 (3.84 TB) and AL83 (15.36 TB). IBM does not print the FRU next to the feature, so the link is by the sales-manual description. Other flash FRUs in the same parts table are 02PX541 (1.92 TB), 02PX542 (3.84 TB) and 02PX544 (15.36 TB). IBM records V5000E drive features as no longer available from January 15, 2022 and the FlashSystem 5010/5030 features from April 9, 2022; the later FlashSystem 5015 and 5035 kept the AL82 feature until December 31, 2025. Disk drive siblings on the same enclosures include 02PX589 (1.8 TB 10K) and 02PX539 (2.4 TB 10K). To confirm fit, check that the enclosure label shows a 2072 machine type with SFF bays, then match the FRU on the carrier to IBM's parts table for that model.
