IBM 01YM587 is the FRU for a 3.84 TB industry-standard NVMe flash drive, the non-FlashCore option in IBM's NVMe control enclosures. IBM lists it in the parts tables for the Storwize V7000 Gen3, the FlashSystem 5100 and the FlashSystem 9100 control enclosures. IBM's sales manuals list a 3.84 TB NVMe drive as feature ADT3 on 2076 (V7000 Gen3), AET3 on 2078/2077 (FlashSystem 5100) and AHT3 on 9846/9848 (FlashSystem 9100). IBM does not print the FRU next to these features, so the link is by the sales-manual description. FlashCore Modules in the same tables are 01YM583 (9.6 TB FCM 1.0) and 02YC418 (19.2 TB FCM 2.0). Its smaller sibling is 01YM586 at 1.92 TB. IBM lists the V7000 Gen3 as no longer available from January 15, 2022. To confirm fit, read the machine type-model on the control enclosure, compare the FRU on the drive label with that model's parts table, and check that the system code level supports the drive.
