Broadcom BCM57504 Ethernet 10/25Gb 4-port SFP28 OCP3 Adapter for HPE, P26269-B21

P26269-B21 is the OCP 3.0 form of HPE's Broadcom BCM57504 four-port 10/25Gb Ethernet adapter, with four SFP28 cages. It installs in a server's OCP slot instead of a standard PCIe slot; the stand-up PCIe card with the same controller is P26264-B21. PartSurfer lists the service spare as P42265-001.

HPE's Compute 10/25Gb Ethernet Adapters QuickSpecs marks it as supported across the Gen10 Plus, Gen11 and Gen12 server generations, and the DL380 Gen10 Plus and DL380 Gen11 QuickSpecs both list it as an OCP networking option. PartSurfer also shows it as the StoreOnce G5 10/25Gb 4-port OCP3 adapter.

The card uses a PCIe 4.0 x16 host interface and draws 16.0 W typical, 16.9 W maximum. Ports auto-negotiate 10Gb or 25Gb, and unlike the two-port BCM57414 cards, HPE notes the four-port BCM57504 accepts different link speeds on different ports. Offloads include RoCEv2 RDMA, VXLAN, NVGRE and GENEVE tunnel offload, NPAR with 8 or 16 physical functions, and SR-IOV up to 1K virtual functions per chip, with UEFI and legacy PXE boot and UEFI iSCSI boot. Security features include a hardware root of trust, authenticated firmware updates, secure boot, audit log and sanitization.

HPE recommends identical adapters on both ends of a RoCE link. Optics and DAC cables are ordered separately. Before buying, confirm that the server has a free OCP 3.0 slot and that its QuickSpecs lists P26269-B21; Intel's four-port equivalent in OCP form is P41614-B21 (E810-XXVDA4).
