S0K89C is the NVIDIA L4 24GB PCIe Accelerator for HPE, a low-profile GPU accelerator for HPE servers. HPE's matching spare is P59360-001.
HPE's NVIDIA accelerators QuickSpecs gives it 24GB of GDDR6 memory with 300GB/s of bandwidth on a PCIe Gen4 x16 interface. Performance is listed as 30 TFLOPS FP32, 242 TFLOPS FP16 and 485 TOPS INT8 with sparsity, and half those figures without. It draws 72 W (40 W minimum) and is a half-height, half-length, single-slot card.
HPE lists supported servers from the ProLiant DL360 and DL380 Gen10 Plus through the Gen11 range (DL320, DL360, DL380, DL380a, ML110, ML350, and the AMD DL145, DL325, DL345, DL365 and DL385) to Gen12 models such as the DL320, DL340, DL360, DL380 and ML350. Also listed are Alletra 4000 storage servers, the Apollo 4200 Gen10 Plus, Edgeline e920 and e930t, the Compute Scale-up Server 3200 and Superdome Flex. PartSurfer shows the spare mainly in DL320 Gen11 and DL345 Gen11 builds.
The larger sibling in the same QuickSpecs is the L40 48GB (S0K90C). Supported server and processor combinations are listed per model, so confirm the server and CPU family against HPE's table before installing.
