IBM Storwize V7000 Model: 2076-524

The IBM 2076-524 Storwize V7000 Gen2 Control Enclosure is in a 2U rack-mount form factor and includes two node canisters. Each canister includes an eight-core processor and 32 GB cache for a total of 64 GB. It also includes 1 Gb iSCSI connectivity, but can be optioned with 16 Gb FC, 8 Gb FC and 10 Gb iSCSI/FCoE connectivity. The 2076-524 includes 12 Gb SAS ports for expansion enclosure attachment. It accepts 2.5 inch SFF drives and can hold up to 24 of them.

This model provides one IBM Gen2 Storwize V7000 control enclosure for up to 24 2.5-inch drives - HDD, SSD, NL or mix

IBM Storwize V7000 was originally developed from Enterprise Level tech, but targeted at mid-range buyers.

One enclosure maxes out at 12 or 24 drives (HDD or SSD) and can be expanded to 240 drives with additional enclosures.
