P04533-B21 is the HPE 1.6TB SAS 12G Mixed Use SFF SC PM5 SSD. PartSurfer lists the service spare as P06580-001, described as a 1.6TB SAS solid state drive in the 2.5-inch small form factor, Mixed Use, with a Smart Carrier (SC) and digitally signed firmware.
The PM5 in the name identifies the drive model. It is the Mixed Use counterpart of the 960GB Read Intensive PM5 drive, P04517-B21.
PartSurfer shows the spare in factory DL380 Gen10 and DL385 Gen10 servers built as VMware vSAN ReadyNodes, a DL380 Gen10 Microsoft Azure Stack all-flash node, and the 1.6TB SAS MU SFF SC DS drive kits.
HPE's SSD QuickSpecs describes full SAS SSDs as giving more I/O bandwidth, write performance and endurance than Value SAS drives, for mission-critical workloads, and Mixed Use drives carry more write endurance than Read Intensive drives. The Smart Carrier fits SC bays in ProLiant Gen8, Gen9 and Gen10 servers and AMD-based Gen10 Plus servers; Intel-based Gen10 Plus and Gen11 servers take Basic Carrier drives. HPE no longer lists this drive in its current SSD QuickSpecs tables, so check the label on an installed drive when matching.
