HPE ProLiant DL300 Gen10 Plus 1U SFF Easy Install Rail Kit, P26485-B21

P26485-B21 is HPE's Easy Install rail kit for 1U ProLiant DL300 Gen10 Plus servers with small form factor (SFF) drive cages. The DL360 Gen10 Plus QuickSpecs lists it under rack options, next to the LFF version, P26487-B21, and the matching cable management arm, P26489-B21.

HPE describes the kit as telescoping rails that let the server slide out of the rack for in-rack servicing. Several pre-configured DL360 Gen10 Plus models ship with it. HPE notes that the server does not support shelf-mounted rail kits (L brackets). The rails are designed for HPE racks that comply with EIA-310-E. HPE says use in third-party racks is at the customer's own risk, so check rack depth and post spacing if your racks are not HPE.

PartSurfer shows spare P38898-001 (SPS-1U Easy Install SFF) inside this rail kit. The same spare also appears in some DL325 Gen10 Plus and DL365 Gen10 Plus factory builds. The DL325 Gen10 Plus QuickSpecs, however, lists its own rail kits (P18544-B21 and P18545-B21), so check that server's documentation before you choose.

The SFF and LFF kits are separate parts. A 1U chassis with 3.5-inch LFF drives takes P26487-B21, and 2U DL380 Gen10 Plus servers use the DL38X 2U kits instead. HPE recommends at least two people for any rack server installation.
