HPE ProLiant DL360 Gen10 Low Profile Riser Kit, 867982-B21

867982-B21 is HPE's low-profile riser kit for the ProLiant DL360 Gen10. PartSurfer lists one service spare under it, 875539-001, described as a secondary riser and cage, x16, low profile (LP). It adds a secondary PCIe riser position for a low-profile card in the 1U chassis.

PartSurfer lists the spare in 121 products, mostly factory DL360 Gen10 configurations. Other entries include DL160 Gen10 and DL180 Gen10 CTO servers, CL2600 and CL2800 Gen10 builds (including a CL2600 Gen10 LP riser kit), DX360 Gen10 and Apollo 9000 management nodes. The kit name ties it to the DL360 Gen10, so treat use in other chassis as specific to the configurations PartSurfer lists.

Riser kits like this matter when a server was built with the primary riser only. Adding the secondary riser opens a second slot for a network adapter, HBA or other low-profile card. On a 1U server, only low-profile cards fit this position, so check the card's bracket and length before buying.

When replacing a damaged riser in a server that already has one, order the spare 875539-001, which matches the installed part. When adding a riser to a server that lacks one, the 867982-B21 option kit is the orderable part. In both cases, confirm the system board's riser connector and the cage match your DL360 Gen10 before ordering.
