Cisco STACK-T4-50CM 50 cm Stacking Cable for Catalyst 9200

A 50 cm data stacking cable for the Catalyst 9200 Series. Cisco ships it as the default cable inside both 9200 stack kits, and also sells it on its own as a spare or extra cable. Longer versions are the STACK-T4-1M (1 m) and STACK-T4-3M (3 m).

The 9200 switches need stack adapters fitted before any cable will connect. Each kit contains two data stack adapters and one cable: the C9200-STACK-KIT is for modular-uplink C9200 models and enables StackWise-160 (160 Gbps), while the C9200L-STACK-KIT is for fixed-uplink C9200L models and enables StackWise-80 (80 Gbps). Both support up to eight switches per stack.

Cisco does not allow C9200 and C9200L models in the same stack, so the cable cannot be used to join the two lines together. It is also not the Catalyst 9300 cable: 9300 and 9300X switches use the STACK-T1 family.

Buy the bare cable when the switches already have adapters installed and you only need to replace or add a link. If a switch has no adapters, order the kit for its model instead.

To identify an installed cable, check the label near the connector: the STACK-T4 prefix marks the 9200 type, and the suffix gives the length.
