Cisco NXA-PAC-750W-PI N9000 750W AC Power Supply (Port-Side Intake)

NXA-PAC-750W-PI is the intake-airflow 750W AC supply in Cisco's Nexus 9300-FX2 ordering list, described as "N9000 750W AC PS, Port-side Intake". Cisco uses this exact part as its example when it explains that a supply's rating is its output to the inside of the switch.

In the FX2 specification table, 750W AC is offered on the 1RU N9336C-FX2, with 36 x 40/100G QSFP28 ports, and the N93240YC-FX2, with 48 x 1/10/25G and 12 x 40/100G ports. Both take up to two supplies and can mix in the 1100W AC, DC and HVAC/HVDC options. The N9336C-FX2 lists 337W typical and 719W maximum AC power.

With PI airflow, air enters on the port side and leaves at the supply end. Cisco sells the Nexus fans in the same PI and PE versions, so a replacement follows the letter already fitted.

Fit check: read the PID on the supply being replaced. The exhaust version is NXA-PAC-750W-PE, and the higher-output option for the same switches is the NXA-PAC-1100W-PI. Compatible switches include the N9K-C9336C-FX2; see the Cisco Nexus hub for more.
