The 15454-XC-VXC-10G is a XC-VXC-series cross-connect card is compatible with the Cisco ONS 15400 Series SONET Multiservice Transport Platform and features include industrial temperature rating, sixty Gigabits per second of nonblocking, high-order switch capacity, five Gigabits per second of low-order switch capacity and eight multiservice card slots.

This card would be an upgrade from the 15454-XC10G.
If upgrading, the ONS 15454 be running CTC Release 6.0 or later.

The XC-VXC-10G card creates connections at the STS and VT levels (SONET).
For VC-4, VC-3, VC-12, and VC-11 levels (SDH), the 15454E-XC-VXC-10G is used.
