Product Description: IBM 8233 Power 750 Express 1 to 4-socket rack-mount server, Model E8B.

The 8233-E8B server utilizes POWER7 processor technology for 4-core to 32-core configuration options. Features include: up to 512MB memory, up to four PCIe I/O drawers or eight PCI-X I/O drawers, up to 41 PCIe or 50 PCI-X slots and EnergyScale technology.

These POWER7 processors are 64-bit modules packaged on dedicated processor cards with 4 MB of L3 cache/core and 256 KB of L2 cache/core.

- 8 x 2.5-inch DASD/SSD/Media backplane with an external SAS port
