Product Description: System Storage DS5020 EXP520 storage expansion unit; The 1814-52A is a high-capacity 3U rack-mountable enclosure with 16-drive bays. Up to six EXP520 expansion units can be attached offering an expandable modular storage solution.
This mid-tier 4Gbps disk expansion offers 8 Gbps-capable Fibre Channel connections or an optional 1 Gbps iSCSI connection.
FC, SAS, SSD, SATA and NL-SAS disk drives are compatible with the EXP520.
