AIR-AP1852E-E-K9 is the Cisco Aironet 1852e indoor access point for the E regulatory domain. The "e" model uses external antennas, which Cisco sells separately. It is an 802.11ac Wave 2 access point with 4x4 MIMO, supporting four spatial streams for single-user MIMO and three for multi-user MIMO, and up to 1.7 Gbps on the 5 GHz radio.
For the E domain Cisco lists 2.412-2.472 GHz with three non-overlapping channels, 5.180-5.320 GHz with eight channels, and 5.500-5.700 GHz with eight channels, excluding 5.600-5.640 GHz.
The access point has a PoE Gigabit Ethernet port, an auxiliary Gigabit port, a console port and a USB 2.0 port, with 1 GB of DRAM and 256 MB of flash. It draws 20.9 W and needs 802.3at power for full function; on 802.3af the 2.4 GHz radio drops to 2x3 and the USB and auxiliary ports are disabled. The 1852e operates from -20 to 50 C, measures 210.8 mm square and weighs 1.41 kg. It supports Cisco Mobility Express.
Fit check: confirm that your country is covered by the Cisco E regulatory domain before ordering, since the domain fixes the allowed channels and power.
The 1852e uses external antennas in the E regulatory domain; MR36-HW and MR46-HW are other access points in Cisco Wireless Access Points and Controllers.
