ICX7450-48P-E is the Ruckus ICX 7450 48-port PoE+ switch bundle. It includes 4 x 10 GbE SFP+ uplink or stacking ports, 2 x 40 GbE QSFP+ uplink or stacking ports, one 1,000 W AC power supply and one fan, with front-to-back airflow. The 48 fixed ports are 10/100/1000 Mbps RJ-45 PoE+ ports, and eight pre-assigned ports support PoH, IEEE 802.3bt ready at 90 W.
One AC supply reaches the maximum of 48 Class 3 ports (15.4 W each) and eight 802.3bt ready ports, while PoE+ at 30 W on all 48 ports takes two AC supplies, which provide a 1,500 W PoE budget. On DC supplies the budget is 516 W. Maximum current draw is 12.5 A at 100 VAC with one supply.
Switching capacity is 336 Gbps full duplex and forwarding capacity is 250 Mpps. The unit weighs 7.2 kg in the bundle configuration and measures 440 mm wide, 393.7 mm deep and 43.7 mm high (1U). Acoustic level is 49 dBA at 25 C, and idle heat dissipation is 362 BTU/hour rising to 386 BTU/hour at 100 percent traffic. MTBF is 444,360 hours.
Memory is 2 GB of DRAM and 2 GB of flash, with room for 32,768 MAC addresses. The 48-port ICX 7450 models cannot take the ICX7400-1X40GQ module in the front-facing slot, and 40 GbE QSFP+ uplinks are limited to two ports.
