717969-S21 is the S-Buy order number for a 240 GB Value Endurance SATA solid-state drive in the 2.5-inch format. HPE's service-parts record maps it to spare 718137-001, described as a hot-plug SSD with a SATA interface, 6 Gb/s transfer rate, 2.5-inch small form factor, Value Endurance (VE) class and a SmartDrive Carrier (SC), for use with Gen8 servers and beyond.
The spare's where-used list is long. It names ProLiant DL360 and DL380 Gen9, DL360e, DL360p, DL380e and DL380p Gen8, DL388 Gen9, DL560 Gen9, DL580 Gen8 and Gen9, DL320e Gen8, DL120, DL180 and DL20 Gen9, and ML350 Gen9. It also lists three SSD option entries for the same drive: the S-Buy listing, a plain Solid State Drive listing and a remanufactured (Reman) listing.
So the S-Buy number and the standard option share one spare. Confirm that the server has SFF bays taking the SC tray; an LFF server needs the 3.5-inch version instead.
