877756-B21 is the HPE 960GB SATA 6G Read Intensive LFF LPC PM883 SSD, with spare 878851-001.
PartSurfer describes the spare as a 960GB SATA SSD, 6Gb/s, 2.5in SFF, Read Intensive (RI), digitally signed firmware, Low Profile Carrier convertor SFF to LFF (LPC). As with the SCC tray, the drive is 2.5-inch and the LPC converter makes it fit a 3.5-inch bay.
The where-used list ties the spare to ML350 Gen10 CTO servers (LFF, SFF, rack and non-hot-plug versions), an Apollo 4200 180TB Qumulo node and OEM ML350 builds.
Read Intensive is HPE's lowest endurance class, at or below 1 DWPD, meant for read-heavy work such as web servers, social media and boot/swap. Data retention in HPE's terms is how long the NAND keeps data after the endurance limit is reached: 3 months unpowered for this family.
Fit check: P09691-B21 carries the same description under a later option number, and 881980-B21 is the special-build RI LFF LPC drive.
