P06198-B21 is a Read Intensive HPE SSD of 1.92TB with a 6Gb/s SATA interface, 2.5-inch SFF, in the Smart Carrier. Its PartSurfer name ends in SE4011, the platform label HPE uses for this line.
Spare P06573-001 is a 1.92TB SATA SSD, SFF, read intensive (RI), digitally signed firmware (DS), smart carrier.
The ProLiant DL380 Gen9 QuickSpecs (retired) lists P06198-B21 in its Read Intensive SATA drive table.
HPE points its Read Intensive drives at read caching, web serving, social media and boot volumes.
In the DL380 Gen9 QuickSpecs the 8 SFF front cage can be upgraded in the field to 16 or 24 SFF bays, and the 12 LFF chassis can add two rear SFF bays for 2.5-inch drives.
Fit check: a 2.5-inch SATA smart-carrier bay in a DL380 Gen9 or another server that lists the option, and a P06198-B21 or P06573-001 label. The SE4011 line also includes P06196-B21 (960GB) and P06200-B21 (3.84TB).
