Dell's MD34XX/38XX support matrix lists K41XJ as the Toshiba PX02SMF020: 200 GB, solid-state, 2.5-inch.
Dell gives the drive firmware as A3B3 in the MD34XX/38XX matrix and A3B3 in the MD32XX/36XX matrix, and marks it as non-SED.
That matrix covers the MD3420, MD3820i and MD3820f, which hold 24 drives of 2.5 inches.
With MD1200 or MD1220 expansion enclosures attached, the 2U models reach 120 slots, or 192 with the optional premium feature key.
The older MD32XX/36XX generation lists it too: 6 Gbps SAS MD3200 and MD3220, 1 Gbps iSCSI MD3200i and MD3220i, 10 Gbps iSCSI MD3600i and MD3620i, and 8 Gbps FC MD3600f and MD3620f.
For SSD read cache on the MD34XX/38XX, 4 GB of controller RAM supports up to 4 TB of cache and 8 GB supports up to 5 TB.
Only drives with a Dell part number listed in the matrix are supported, so the label part number matters as much as the drive model.
Fit check: confirm the array model and that PX02SMF020 is in its drive table before ordering. Similar Dell drives include the DPF1J 800 GB and 61XPF 146 GB. Our Dell PowerEdge parts hub groups the rest of the family.
