M09K5 is the Dell part number for a 3.84TB 2.5 inch SAS solid-state drive built on the Toshiba PX04SRB384, the largest capacity of the PX04SRB family (3,840, 1,920, 960 and 480 GB). Each size also exists as a PX04SRQ self-encrypting model.
The flash is MLC and the SAS-3.0 interface runs at 12.0 Gbit/s, falling back to 6.0, 3.0 or 1.5 Gbit/s. At 12.0 Gbit/s dual port, sustained 64 KiB sequential reads reach 1,500 MiB/s and sequential writes 750 MiB/s, while 4 KiB random reads reach 270,000 IOPS and random writes 22,000 IOPS. Endurance is 1 drive write per day, and MTTF is 2,000,000 hours.
Typical power in the ready state is 3.2 W from 5 V and 12 V supplies, each within 7 percent. The case is 15.0 mm high, 69.85 mm wide and up to 100.45 mm long, with a weight of up to 150 g. It operates between 0 and 55 C at 5 to 95 percent humidity and withstands 1,000 G shock for 0.5 ms in operation.
A higher-endurance Toshiba SSD on this hub is the YYC10; more are under Dell SSDs.
