B7E23A is HPE's StoreVirtual 4530 2TB MDL SAS Storage. HPE describes it as a 4530 storage system with twelve large form factor SAS drives of 2TB each, running at 7,200 RPM on a 6G/12G SAS interface.
The controller side is a single Intel Xeon E5-2620 at 2.0 GHz with 64GB RAM, redundant hot-swap 750W power supplies and a 2GB flash-backed write cache. HPE lists support for RAID 5, 6 and 10 on this model, a quad-port 1Gb network adapter, a dual-port 10Gb NC552SFP adapter, iLO 4 with the iLO Advanced Pack, and the Smart Array Advanced Pack 2.0.
HPE's 4530 range runs through 450GB and 600GB SAS models, this 2TB model, a 3TB model and the 4TB F3J69A. HPE adds the #0D1 suffix to the part number for the factory-racked version.
