4C57A14368 (feature code B4B9) is the Lenovo ThinkSystem DE4000 HIC, 32Gb FC, 4 ports, a host interface card (HIC) for ThinkSystem DE Series controllers. It adds four SFP+ Fibre Channel ports to a controller, and the ports run at 8, 16 or 32 Gb FC. The same card is also named ThinkSystem DE2000/DE4000 HIC, 32Gb FC, 4 ports for DE2000H systems.
Each DE4000H controller has one HIC slot, so an enclosure with two controllers carries two of these cards, for eight FC ports in all. The ports need optical transceivers, because DAC cables are not an option on this card: the matching transceiver is the Lenovo 32Gb FC SFP+ Transceiver, 4M17A13528 (B4B3).
Fibre Channel cabling for the optical transceivers uses LC-LC OM4 multimode cables. Lenovo makes those in lengths from 0.5 m (4Z57A10845) up to 30 m (4Z57A10852).
