670856-S01 is a preconfigured model of the HP ProLiant DL380p Gen8, the 2U two-socket rack server, from the Smart Buys section of HP's QuickSpecs. It is the DL380p Gen8 E5-2620 one-processor server.
Per the Smart Buys table it ships with one Intel Xeon E5-2620 (2.0GHz, 6-core, 15MB L3, 7.2GT/s QPI, 95W) and 16GB of memory as 2x 8GB PC3L-10600R (DDR3-1333) registered DIMMs. The server has 24 DIMM slots once a second processor is added.
Networking is one HP Ethernet 1Gb 4-port 331FLR adapter. Storage is the HP Smart Array P420i with 512MB FBWC, supporting RAID 0, 1, 1+0, 5 and 5+0, behind eight SFF SAS/SATA drive bays; no drives ship standard. PartSurfer's option name reads P420I/ZM SATA SFF instead, so check the controller cache module on a used unit.
The rest of the standard build: three PCIe slots, an optional slim optical bay, two HP 460W Common Slot Platinum Plus hot-plug redundant power supplies, four fans with N+1 redundancy, the iLO Management Engine, and HP's ball bearing rail kit with cable management arm.
Fit check: a DL380p Gen8 with the 670856-S01 label on the chassis tag; it uses DDR3 registered memory and SFF drives in HP smart carriers. Gen8 options and drives are collected on the HPE ProLiant DL380p Gen8 hub.
