873100-001 is an HPE spare part number, not an option. PartSurfer describes it as a 7.68TB SAS solid state drive in the 2.5in small form factor, 3PAR drive model DDYM7680S5xnNMRI, for use with the 3PAR StoreServ 8000.
It sits under one option in HPE's records: P9L83B, the 3PAR 8000 7.68TB SAS SFF SSD with All-inclusive Single-system Software, alongside spares 863460-001 and 863461-001 (drive model AREA7680S5xnNTRI). The older option P9L83A lists only those two AREA spares, so this page no longer ties 873100-001 to P9L83A. HPE notes that 863460-001 went to limited supply in April 2019 with P08736-001 as the alternate, and that the newer drive needs a higher OS level.
HPE's loading rules for the 8000: SFF drives go in pairs of identical drives from the leftmost slot with no gaps, at least eight SSDs per node pair are recommended for a new drive type, and RAID 6 is strongly recommended.
