881975-B21 is a special-build HPE option that PartSurfer files under "HPE Server Solid State Drives". Its spare, 875865-001, is a 960GB SATA SSD, mixed use (MU), 6Gb/s, 2.5-inch SFF, in the smart carrier (SC) with digitally signed firmware.
The spare's where-used list ties it to Gen10 configure-to-order builds: the DL385 Gen10 8SFF and 24SFF CTO servers (including TAA versions) and the ML350 Gen10 SFF, LFF and rack CTO servers, as well as the standard "960GB SATA MU SFF SC DS" drive and an "MU SFF RW DS Spl" entry that matches this option.
In HPE's scheme, a Mixed Use drive is rated for more than 1 but fewer than 10 full-capacity writes per day over five years. To track how much write endurance is left, HPE points to SmartSSD Wear Gauge, available on Smart Array PX1X and newer and on Smart HBA controllers.
Because the spare is shared with the standard MU SFF SC drive, a failed 881975-B21 is normally replaced with 875865-001.
