Cisco C1000-16T-2G-L Catalyst 1000 16-Port Gigabit Switch, 2x SFP, Fanless

C1000-16T-2G-L is a 16-port Cisco Catalyst 1000 switch with Gigabit Ethernet data ports and two 1G SFP uplinks. The Catalyst 1000 data sheet lists it as fanless and without PoE.

Cisco's performance table gives the 16-port Catalyst 1000 models 18 Gbps of forwarding bandwidth and 26.78 Mpps. This unit weighs 1.78 kg.

Its sibling C1000-16T-E-2G-L has the same ports but uses an external power supply and weighs 1.42 kg; the C1000-16T-2G-L has its supply inside. For PoE, the C1000-16FP-2G-L adds PoE+ with a 240W budget on the same 16-port layout.

Like other Gigabit Catalyst 1000 models it can stack with up to seven more switches through its uplinks. The platform uses an ARM v7 CPU with 512 MB of DRAM and 256 MB of flash. For PoE+ on 16 ports, choose C1000-16FP-2G-L; the external-PSU model is C1000-16T-E-2G-L, and more models are on the Cisco switches hub.

Fit check: if the devices on these ports need power, choose the 16FP model instead; note that this model has its power supply inside, unlike the -E version.
