CP-7861-K9 Cisco IP Phone 7861 16-Line SIP Phone

CP-7861-K9 is the Cisco IP Phone 7861, the sixteen-line phone of the Cisco IP Phone 7800 Series, in charcoal. The white version is CP-7861-W-K9. The display is a white backlit greyscale 3.5-inch screen of 396 x 162 pixels.

Line keys are fully programmable with tri-color LEDs. The other controls are soft keys, two-way navigation and select keys, Hold/Resume, Transfer, Conference, Messaging, Service, Directory, volume, speakerphone, headset and mute keys, with a full-duplex speakerphone. The handset is wideband-capable, hearing-aid compatible and connects through an RJ-9 port. The analog headset jack is also a wideband-capable RJ-9 port, and an electronic hook switch works with a third-party headset on the auxiliary port.

There are two RJ-45 ports, one for the LAN and one for a PC or other downstream device, at 10/100BASE-T. Power is IEEE 802.3af PoE Class 1, not above 3.84 W, with a 0.42 A, 48 V DC input rating; the Cisco Power Adapter 3 covers non-PoE use.

Signaling is SIP with G.711, G.722, G.722.2, G.729ab, iLBC and OPUS codecs, SRTP media encryption (AES-128), TLS signaling and 802.1X. It works with Cisco Unified Communications Manager 12.5 and above, Hosted Collaboration Solution 8.6.2 and later and Unified SRST 8.x and later, and needs an Enhanced User Connect License. The phone measures 207 x 265 x 28 mm without the foot stand and weighs 1053 g; the foot stand has 30 and 45 degree positions.
