This PN provides one 2.5 inch Small Form Factor (SFF) 300GB Hot Swappable Serial Attached SCSI (SAS) 10000 RPM HDD (Hard Disk Drive) This Dell CXF82 drive is compatible with the Dell EMC PowerVault MD34XX/38XX Series.
Compatibility and specifications
CXF82 is the HGST (Hitachi) Ultrastar C10K900 HUC109030CSS600: 300 GB, 10,000 RPM, 6Gb/s SAS, 64 MB buffer, in a 2.5-inch case 14.8 mm high. The 300 GB model uses one disk and two heads, against three disks and six heads in the 900 GB H5WGN from the same family, and HGST rates the family at 5.8 W operating and 2.0 million hours MTBF. Dell lists CXF82 with firmware N440 in the MD34XX/38XX (Rev. A25) and MD32XX/36XX (Rev. A24) matrices and in the MD3060e enclosure matrix; the 24-bay 2.5-inch arrays in those documents are the MD3420, MD3820i, MD3820f, MD3220, MD3220i, MD3620i and MD3620f.
