IBM 98Y2218 is the FRU for the power supply in IBM's 2U SAS expansion enclosures. IBM lists it in the replaceable-parts tables for the FlashSystem 5100 and Storwize V5100 expansions and for the Storwize V7000 Gen2 family, so one spare serves the 12-bay LFF and 24-bay SFF 2U expansions in those systems. Each enclosure carries two supplies for redundancy. IBM does not give the supply an orderable feature code; it ships with the enclosure and is replaced by FRU. It is a different part from 01YM310, the 2000 W supply used in the NVMe control enclosures of the same generation. Drive FRUs listed for these expansions include 01YM176, 00RX908, 01LJ835, 00AR322 and 00RX911. To confirm fit, read the expansion enclosure's machine type-model, confirm it is a 2U expansion rather than a control enclosure, and match the FRU on the supply's label to IBM's table.
