IBM feature code AGS5 is a 4.8 TB NVMe Flash Core Module for the IBM FlashSystem 5200, machine type 4662. Each unit of the feature is one NVMe FlashCore Module drive, and the feature applies to models 6H2 and UH6.
On the 4662-6H2 the minimum required quantity is 0 and the maximum allowed is 12, with an initial order maximum of 12. The 4662-UH6 carries the same minimum, maximum and initial order maximum. The maximum is counted across all NVMe drive features together, meaning the AGSx and AGTx features, so AGS5 shares that 12-drive allowance with its neighbours in those two ranges instead of adding to it.
Customer setup is Yes on both models, so the drive is installed by the customer. On the 6H2 the feature can be installed at the plant or in the field. On the UH6 it is a field (MES) installation, with plant and field both applying in India only. AGS5 is not compatible with feature ADN2 on the initial machine order, so an initial order that carries ADN2 cannot include it. More flash modules are in IBM storage SSDs and flash modules.
