IBM feature #ESBG is a 775 GB Enterprise SAS 4k SFF-2 solid-state drive for AIX and Linux, CCIN 5B11. Feature #ESNA is the same CCIN and the same description under a second feature code. Both are available for the Power S914, S922 and S924 (machine type 9009), the Power L922 (9008, Linux), the Power E950 (9040) and the Power E980 (9080), and they are supported on the Power E1050 (9043).
The drive holds 775 GB with 4224-byte sectors in a Gen2 (SFF-2) carrier. The maximum quantity of each feature is 336 on the Power S914, S922 and S924 and on the Power L922, 768 on the Power E950 and 2016 on the Power E980. A pack of 150 drives is ordered as #ESQG for #ESBG and as #ERNA for #ESNA. FRU part numbers 00LY337, 00LY622, 01LU866, 01LU929, 02YC568 and 02YC678 are assigned to CCIN 5B11.
The #ESLS EXP24SX enclosure takes up to 24 hot-swap SFF-2 drives in 2 EIA, and in a mode 1 drawer SSDs and HDDs cannot be mixed. SFF-2 SSDs do not fit the SFF-3 bays of the system unit.
