Brocade Ruckus ICX 7150 24-Port PoE+ Switch, 4 x 1 GbE SFP Uplinks, ICX7150-24P-4X1G

ICX7150-24P-4X1G is a RUCKUS ICX 7150 switch with 24 10/100/1000 Mbps PoE+ ports, two 1 GbE RJ45 uplink ports and four 1 GbE SFP uplink ports that a license upgrades to up to four 10 GbE SFP+ ports. The PoE budget is 370 W, and the switch runs base Layer 3 (static routing and RIP) with OSPF, VRRP, PIM and PBR available by license.

The 370 W budget covers up to 24 Class 3 ports at 15.4 W or up to 12 Class 4 PoE+ ports at 30 W. A silent mode configuration option disables the fan and holds the PoE budget at 150 W, which suits installs outside a wiring closet. Airflow is side-to-back, and at minimum fan speed the acoustic level is 41.4 dBA.

Switching capacity is 132 Gbps and forwarding capacity is 98 Mpps. Latency for 64-byte frames is 2.426 microseconds at 1 GbE and 0.961 microseconds at 10 GbE. Up to 12 ICX 7150 switches stack for 480 Gbps of aggregated stacking bandwidth with up to 10 km between stacked units, and 10 GbE SFP+ ports are required for stacking.

The power supply rating is 525 W. The switch weighs 4.93 kg, measures 440 x 280 x 43.65 mm and has an MTBF of 397,428 hours at 25 C. Management is through one RJ45 out-of-band Ethernet port, a USB Type-C console port, an RJ45 serial console port and a USB port for file storage.

For a multigigabit PoH build the Z-Series model is a different switch, ICX7150-48ZP-E2X10G, with 16 2.5 GbE ports and dual hot-swap power supplies.
