The AFF A200 is an earlier NetApp entry all-flash HA pair with internal drives, and NetApp no longer supports it on new ONTAP releases: the A200 does not run ONTAP later than 9.11.1, and the hardware list drops it from 9.12.1.
The documented swap keeps the chassis and drives. NetApp supports replacing the A200 controller modules with AFF A150 controllers on ONTAP 9.10.1P15 or 9.11.1P11 and later, and its upgrade guide gives the example of moving to an AFF A220 by swapping only the controller modules while the A200 chassis and disks stay in place.
NetApp's maintenance set covers the boot media, caching module, chassis, controller, DIMMs, drives, NVMEM battery, power supplies and the real-time clock battery. A DIMM is replaced on excessive correctable or any uncorrectable ECC errors, and when a power supply is pulled, a plastic flap closes the empty slot to keep airflow.
It appears on NetApp's list of systems with internal storage alongside the FAS2620, FAS2650, FAS2720, FAS2750 and AFF A220.
Before ordering a controller, confirm the model in sysconfig -a and that the cluster runs ONTAP 9.11.1 or earlier.
