"HPE sells the MSA 10TB 12G SAS 7.2K rpm LFF (3.5in) Midline 512e hard drive as option P9M82A. Its PartSurfer spare is 868230-001, a 10TB SAS hard drive at 12Gb/s and 7,200 RPM in the 3.5-inch large form factor.
The MSA 2040 QuickSpecs lists it among the 12G LFF 7.2K SAS Midline drives between Q2R42A (12TB) and M0S90A (8TB), with the note that 512e drives require MSA 1040/2040 firmware GL200P002 or newer. The MSA 2050 and MSA 2052 QuickSpecs list it too, and both name a 6-pack bundle, R0P91A (HPE MSA 60TB SAS 12G Midline 7.2K LFF 512e), that contains six P9M82A drives.
The MSA 2050 QuickSpecs notes that mixing SSDs and HDDs in one system as capacity tiers requires the Advanced Data Services Suite LTU, while all-SSD setups and SSD read cache do not. HPE's MSA 2040 QuickSpecs says SAS Midline drives suit archival or reference data and should not be used in a heavy I/O environment.
Fit check: an MSA 2040, 2050 or 2052 LFF array or enclosure, GL200P002 or later firmware on an MSA 2040, and P9M82A or 868230-001 on the label. Next sizes: M0S90A (8TB) and Q2R42A (12TB)."
