RF9T8 is a Dell 1.8TB 10K 2.5-inch SAS hard drive. Dell pairs DPN RF9T8 with HGST model HUC101818CS4204. It is a 1.8TB, 10K drive that is not self-encrypting, and it is used in the Dell EMC PowerVault MD12XX Enclosure, the Dell EMC PowerVault MD32XX/36XX Series and the Dell EMC PowerVault MD34XX/38XX Series.
HUC101818CS4204 is a 1.8TB Ultrastar C10K1800 in the 4Kn/512e format, without Instant Secure Erase, TCG encryption or FIPS 140-2. The interface is 12Gb/s SAS, which also runs at 6Gb/s, 3Gb/s and 1.5Gb/s, and the maximum interface transfer speed is 1200 MB/s. The data buffer is 128 MB, rotational speed is 10,520 RPM, average latency is 2.85 ms and typical seek time is 3.3 to 3.7 ms read and 3.8 to 4.4 ms write.
