HPE P02509-B21 Intel Xeon-Gold-6240 Processor Kit for ProLiant DL380 Gen10

HPE's P02509-B21 adds an Intel Xeon Gold 6240, a 2nd Gen Xeon Scalable processor, to a ProLiant DL380 Gen10. Intel rates the Gold 6240 at 150 W for 18 cores and 36 threads, with clocks from 2.6 GHz to 3.9 GHz and 24.75 MB of cache. This Cascade Lake part, launched in Q2 2019, has 3 UPI links, 2 AVX-512 FMA units and support for 4S configurations. Memory: six DDR4 channels at up to 2933 MHz and up to 1 TB per socket, with Intel Optane persistent memory supported. HPE PartSurfer gives the spare processor number as P11615-001. The same spare processor, P11615-001, is used by P02625-B21, the DL360 Gen10 kit for this chip; PartSurfer lists different fan and heatsink parts for the two servers. The factory-integrated version, P02509-L21, appears in the same QuickSpecs. For I/O, Intel gives 48 lanes of PCIe 3.0; the FCLGA3647 package measures 76.0 x 56.5 mm. Intel credits the processor with Deep Learning Boost, Volume Management Device (VMD), Resource Director Technology, Speed Shift and Run Sure Technology, and its instruction set extensions run up to AVX-512.
