4XB7A95049 (feature code C2BY, Micron model MTFDKCC960TGP-1BK1DABYY) is the ThinkSystem 2.5-inch U.3 7500 PRO 960GB Read Intensive NVMe PCIe 4.0 x4 hot-swap SSD. It is built on the Micron 7500 PRO family with 232-layer 3D TLC NAND, and every 7500 PRO drive ships with TCG Opal 2.01 self-encrypting support. The hot-swap tray is included with the drive.
The 960GB capacity is specified at 1.0 drive writes per day over five years, or 1752 TB of total bytes written. Random 4 KB performance reaches 800,000 read IOPS and 85,000 write IOPS, with 128 KB sequential speeds of 6800 MBps read and 1400 MBps write. Random latency is 70 µs for reads and 15 µs for writes, and typical power is 12.3 W reading and 7.3 W writing. Data reliability is better than 1 error in 10^17 bits read and MTBF is 2,000,000 hours.
Each drive has its own direct PCIe 4.0 x4 connection, good for up to 8 GBps. Power-loss protection, an advanced ECC engine, end-to-end data protection and adaptive thermal monitoring are built in, as are secure boot and key-based firmware update checks. The drive is built to PCI Express Base Specification 4.0 and NVM Express 2.0b.
