4XB7A10231 (feature code B4Y6) is the ThinkSystem 2.5" SS530 1.6TB Performance SAS 12Gb Hot Swap SSD, built on Western Digital model WUSTM3216ASS200. The SS530 uses second-generation 3D TLC NAND with a 12 Gb SAS interface, and this 1.6TB drive has no SED encryption.
Performance is 239,700 random read IOPS at queue depth 128 and 170,400 random write IOPS at queue depth 16, both with 4 KB blocks. Sequential throughput is 1070 MBps read and 1050 MBps write with 128 KB blocks, and latency is 92 µs for reads and 26 µs for writes. Typical power is 9 W.
Endurance is 10 drive writes per day over five years, with 29.41 PB total bytes written, with an MTBF of 2,500,000 hours. Data reliability is 1 in 10^17 bits read.
