A 960GB Entry drive from the 5100 SATA range, supplied as a 2.5-inch hot-swap SSD, carries the Lenovo spare number 01PE062. The matching option is 4XB7A08503 with feature code B10P. Lenovo calls the Entry members of this range versions of the Micron 5100 ECO and equips them with triple-level cell 3D NAND and a 6 Gbps SATA interface.
Drive writes per day are rated at 0.5 for this 960 GB size, equal to 900 TB of total bytes written. Throughput with 4 KB blocks is 93,000 IOPS on reads and 28,000 IOPS on writes. With 128 KB blocks the sequential read rate is 540 MBps and the sequential write rate is 520 MBps, and sequential latency is 500 µs either way.
Reliability is stated as a 2,000,000-hour MTBF together with a read error rate under 1 in 10^17 bits. Typical power consumption is 5 W. Beyond that, the drive includes S.M.A.R.T. support, AES 256-bit encryption and no moving parts, and it tolerates 1,500 G of non-operating shock at 0.5 ms.
Entry options sharing the 2.5-inch hot-swap format: 480GB is 4XB7A08502 (B10N), 1.92TB is 4XB7A08504 (B10Q) and 3.84TB is 4XB7A08505 (B10R). All three use the same hot-swap 2.5-inch format as 01PE062 and differ in capacity and write speed.
