877760-B21 is an HPE 1.92TB SATA solid-state drive in the Read Intensive class for 3.5-inch (LFF) hot-plug bays. HPE PartSurfer maps it to spare 878853-001, described as a 1.92TB hot-plug SSD with SATA interface, 6Gb/s data rate, read intensive (RI), 3.5-inch large form factor, digitally signed firmware (DS) and a smart carrier SFF-to-LFF tray (SCC). The option name ends PM883. The key point of the SCC tray is that a small form factor SSD sits inside a 3.5-inch shell, so the part is for large form factor bays.

Its direct sibling is the LPC version, whose spare record describes a 2.5-inch drive in a low profile carrier convertor. Same capacity, same Read Intensive class, same signed firmware, different tray: SCC here against LPC there, so the choice of option number should follow the carrier on the drive you are replacing. PartSurfer lists spare 878853-001 as used in the DL360 Gen10 8TB ROBO server for Cohesity. HPE puts Read Intensive on the read-driven side of its workload split: read caching, web servers, social media and boot.
