This PN provides one 2.5 inch Small Form Factor (SFF) 900GB Hot Swappable Serial Attached SCSI (SAS) 10000 RPM HDD (Hard Disk Drive) This Dell H5WGN drive is compatible with the Dell EMC PowerVault MD34XX/38XX Series.
Compatibility and specifications
H5WGN is the HGST (Hitachi) Ultrastar C10K900 HUC109090CSS600, the 900 GB top capacity of that family: 10,000 RPM, 6Gb/s SAS, 64 MB buffer, three disks and six heads in a 14.8 mm-high 2.5-inch case. HGST gives the family 198 to 117 MB/s typical sustained transfer, 5.8 W operating power and 2.0 million hours MTBF. Dell lists H5WGN with firmware N440 in the MD34XX/38XX (Rev. A25) and MD32XX/36XX (Rev. A24) matrices and in the MD3060e enclosure matrix, the same N440 level as the 300 GB CXF82.
