03GX082 is the Lenovo spare part number for the ThinkSystem RAID 5350-8i PCIe 12Gb Adapter, a RAID adapter. It is also sold as option 4Y37A72482, feature code BJHK.

The adapter is a cacheless 12 Gb SAS/SATA RAID controller built on the Adaptec PM8222 SmartIOC 2100, the Adaptec SmartHBA 2100-8i equivalent, with a PCIe 3.0 x8 host interface and a low-profile PCIe form factor. It has 8 ports on 2 Mini-SAS HD x4 (SFF-8643) connectors and takes up to 8 hot-swap SAS or SATA devices, either HDD or SSD. RAID levels are 0, 1, 10 and 5, with a JBOD (HBA) mode.

The part number for the PCIe adapter comes with the 3U full-height bracket attached and a 2U low-profile bracket. Performance reaches up to 1.7M random read IOPS with 4 KB blocks. It supports up to 64 arrays and 64 logical drives, logical drive sizes above 2 TB, and a stripe size from 16 KB up to 1 MB. Hot spares can be global, dedicated or pooled, and the adapter takes 512e, 512n and 4K sector drives with intermixed 24 Gb/s, 12 Gb/s and 6 Gb/s drive speeds. It supports SED drives.
