49RCK is a Dell 900GB 2.5 inch 15K rpm hard drive that maps to the Seagate ST900MP0136. It is formatted 4Kn, carries firmware KT7D, is supported in MD1400 and MD1420 storage enclosures, and is not self-encrypting (non-SED).
ST900MP0136 is part of the Seagate Exos 15E900 SAS family, which Seagate also called Enterprise Performance 15K HDD v6. Among the 4096-byte native and 512-byte emulation models the 900 GB versions are ST900MP0146 (standard), ST900MP0156 (SED), ST900MP0136 (Instant Secure Erase) and ST900MP0166 (FIPS 140-2 Level 2), so ST900MP0136 is the ISE variant and carries no self-encryption.
The spindle turns at 15K rpm with an average latency of 2.0 ms and uses a 12Gb/s SAS interface. TurboBoost read caching of 16GB is available on 512E and 4KN models, and the block size can be set to 4096, 4160 or 4224 bytes for 4KN. Reliability figures are an MTBF of 2,000,000 hours and an annualized failure rate of 0.44 percent.
Other drive features include SAS Power Disable, T10 Fast Format, support for SAS expanders, up to 32 initiators, and vertical, horizontal or top-down mounting. Operating shock tolerance is 40 Gs, the unrecovered data error rate is under 1 sector in 10^16 bits, and the seek error rate is under 10 errors in 10^8 seeks.
