730706-001 is HPE's spare part number for the MSA 1TB SAS hard drive: 6 Gb/s, 7,200 rpm, 2.5-inch small form factor, dual-port, hot-plug and midline. PartSurfer ties it to option C8S62A, "HPE MSA 1TB 6G SAS 7.2K SFF (2.5-inch) Dual Port Midline".
In the HPE MSA 2040 Product Information Reference, C8S62A appears under 6G SFF 7.2K SAS Midline (MDL) HDDs in the drives option list, and 730706-001 appears in the spare parts drive list. HPE describes SAS midline drives as usually reserved for archival data, being relatively inexpensive and available in large capacities.
The MSA 2040 is a 2U array with 24 SFF or 12 LFF drive bays. HPE gives it a maximum of 199 SFF drives with expansion, RAID levels 0, 1, 3, 5, 6, 10 and 50, and a 6 Gb SAS drive and enclosure protocol.
