HPE rates it at 69,000 random read and 12,000 random write IOP/s, with sequential speeds of 450 MiB/s read and 150 MiB/s write over a 6 Gb/s SATA interface, 512-byte logical blocks, 9 W power and a 0 to 60 degrees C operating range.
HPE lists the endurance of the 120GB 6G SATA Read Intensive M.2 2280 drive as 70 TB of lifetime writes, or 0.3 drive writes per day over five years. HPE also lists the 340GB 777264-B21, which it rates at 71,000 random read and 15,000 random write IOP/s with sequential speeds of 455 MiB/s read and 320 MiB/s write, and lists the pair for SL4540 Gen9 servers. HPE first listed both options on 1 June 2015.
The spare is 781565-001, a 120GB SATA SSD with a 6Gb/s interface, read intensive, M.2 2280, value endurance and power loss prevention.
